Cartoon Planet is block that currently airs on Cartoon Network . At first, Cartoon Planet was a show that that aired from 1995 to the year 2000. However (in honor of Cartoon Network's 20th Anniversary), Cartoon Network brought back the show as an hour block (including commercials) that mostly shows original Cartoon Networks cartoons that have ended. More recently, however, Cartoon Planet has shown shows that have not officially ended. Cartoon Planet has also recently been showing non-original cartoons. Even though Cartoon Network's 20th Anniversary is over, Cartoon Planet continues to air on the network almost every Friday night. Chowder (TV series) is one of the many shows that is shown on Cartoon Planet.
