Kid Shnitzel is 29a episode of middle season. It aired June 4, 2009[1] as part of the Festival of Chowder TV event.
Plot[]
Schnitzel goes through a bad, rainy day. He steps into a rain puddle; arrives at the catering company to see that Chowder has made mess (which naturally leads to Schnitzel cleaning it up), listens to Mung making a pun about him having a “long face”, gets hit by a flying pile of some sort of cream, and gets his head splattered by something that Chowder put in his hat when it was time to call it a day; all events are answered by Schnitzel groaning. Worst still, this stroke of bad luck repeats itself for the next two days, with the third instance resulting in him checking his hat (which didn’t have anything in it), only to step into a litter box that Chowder was about clean up; though instead of groaning, he finally snaps out of anger and starts ranting about the past three days. Mung manages to calm him down and explain about Chowder being a kid and that there’s nothing wrong with being an adult (adding that the best years are behind, not ahead), but Schnitzel starts to think being a kid is better than having to suffer the adult stuff he went through over and over. (While this was happening, Chowder ends up setting the kitchen on fire while working on something, much to the dismay of Mung and Schnitzel.) So, to get out of work, Shnitzel acts like a kid, but Chowder now has to work but then acts like a baby ("Goo-goo, I'm a baby.") but Mung tells Shnitzel that he now has to work (Because he's 'older') but Shnitzel now is a 'baby' which drives Mung into sending them to the Baby Pound. Everything is silent...Until Frau Broten (the warden) shows up! She then throws Shnitzel against the ceiling and then milks and barfs him until the worst and most terrifying part... she wants to change his diaper! Shnitzel is afraid she will see his "business" and runs, driving the warden into pulling out her scissors and threatning to cut 'the stinky' off. After being caught ,and about to become the victim of an extreme diaper changing, Shnitzel reveals he is a man (And Chowder, and everyone else). They return to Mung but discover Mung is going the same path as them, becoming a kid to get out of work, much to Shnitzel's annoyance (which results in the same groan he gave out at the start).
