"Panini for President" is the 3rd episode of Season 2 of Chowder and the 41st episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Chowder finds himself used as a political pawn between Panini and Gorgonzola.
Plot[]
At the Apprentice Club, the club president, an apprentice fly swatter, gets distracted by a fly and starts chasing it. Seeing him gone, Panini decides to declare herself as president, quickly declaring child marriage legal so that she can get her hands on Chowder. Gorgonzola tries to nominate himself, he's immediately shot down as the other members hate him. Wanting Panini out of the way, he tries to make Chowder run for President with he himself as the Vice President. Chowder rejects the idea until he's told he can ban Panini from being his girlfriend.
Their plans for making Panini lose fail. Gorgonzola draws over her posters, only for stupid pig people to mistakenly believe she looks like that in person and give her the pity vote. They try to take photos of Chowder kissing babies, only for the babies to turn out to be on the run from the police.
At the debate, Panini succeeds in getting people to like her, but when Chowder fails to say anything that endears him to anyone, he starts his chauvinistic slandering by saying that Panini shouldn't be president because she's a girl. As an argument unfolds, Gorgonzola spills mud on Panini. With this, Panini and Chowder start throwing mud at each other, but when Chowder throws mud that knocks her down, Panini cries about how she wanted to pass laws that would make Chowder her property and that Gorgonzola is just using him to win the election. Gorgonzola, dressed as the Phantom of the Opera, appears and is chased out by the police for being a villain.
The president returns, finally swatting the fly, thus rendering the election null and void.
